Numerical calculation of the resistance of catamarans at different distances between two hulls

For the design of high-speed catamarans, different distances between slices have obvious interference with total resistance catamaran. In order to accurately predict hydrodynamic characteristics catamaran and explore chip spacing on prediction, this paper uses a combination CFD calculations empirical formulas ship model under spacings calculate them. The result is compared formula. results test calculated by formula were used verify numerical calculation results. show that change trend consistent, method effective feasible. Finally, method, within error range, which has certain reference value for optimization parameters.
